Service Description

Brevet course For certified paraglider pilots, we offer special advanced training courses in speedriding. We would like to look at the differences to normal paragliding. In detail, a course includes the following steps: driving in easy terrain, normal high-altitude flight (approx. 550m altitude difference) to get to know the differentiated flight behavior and then the combination of the previous steps, i.e.: flying/driving in speedflying terrain. Learning objectives: Handling skis and paragliders, cornering, glide angle control using the brakes. The courses are concluded with an exam. If you pass the exam, you will receive an ID card from the SHV that allows you to practice speedriding without the supervision of a flight instructor. Equipment: The speedriding equipment during the course will be provided to you by Luftchraft - Davos Flight School. You must bring your own ski equipment, helmet and back protector if you have them. Dates and duration: Speedriding courses start with the trial day on Monday and end with the exam on Friday (5 days). The course days last from 9:00 a.m. to around 2:30 p.m.
