Service Description
After the basic training you are ready for your first high-altitude flight. The instructor will instruct you on the radio during your first high-altitude flights and guide you safely to the landing site. In the further course of your training, the radio will only act as a support. Otherwise, you will learn to move independently in the air and to master various flight maneuvers safely under radio control. To avoid any time pressure, we offer you the opportunity to complete as many flights as you want over a period of two years. Students who are ready to take their exams and have their own equipment can take part in a student exchange with other flying schools to get to know other flying areas Learning objectives: Safe take-off, landing and flying in a wide range of conditions. Recognize dangerous situations and how to avoid them. Making independent decisions when paragliding. Acquire basic knowledge of thermal flying. Equipment: The flying equipment for the first 10 high-altitude flights is provided by Luftchraft - Flugschule Davos. Further high-altitude flights will be made with your own equipment; we will be happy to help you with purchase and advice. Dates and duration: High altitude flights are possible all year round. During the mountain railway season (July to October and December to April) we offer high-altitude flight training every morning. The time required to obtain your certification: approx. 20 to 30 flying days (depending on the weather), which means a training period of 8 to 12 months.
